I’ve had some luck with interactive laser toys; both my cat and dog go nuts chasing the light. They seem to stay engaged for a while, and it’s fun to watch them. Just make sure to supervise them since the dog can get a bit rough when he gets excited! Also, I’d steer clear of any squeaky toys that might frustrate the cat.
