I tried it once with a small turtle and some guppies, and it didn’t end well for the fish. Turtles can be super opportunistic feeders, so I’d suggest keeping them separate or at least choosing bigger, more robust fish that can handle their curiosity. Also, make sure you have plenty of hiding spots for the fish to escape if they need to!

I had some serious issues when I put a turtle in with my fish. The turtle was curious, but it ended up snacking on one of my smaller fish. Instead of risking it, I got a separate tank for the turtle. It’s definitely easier to manage their needs that way!
