I’ve noticed that outdoor cats can be quite set in their ways when it comes to bathroom habits. A friend of mine has been trying to get her cat, who’s used to roaming outside, to start using a litter box indoors, but she hasn’t had much luck. This makes me wonder if it’s really possible to teach an outdoor cat to adapt to a litter box.
Cats have their own preferences for where they do their business, especially if they’re accustomed to nature. I can imagine it’s a bit of a struggle to balance their instincts with the need for indoor sanitation. Have any of you managed to train an outdoor cat to use a litter box?
