Choosing the Best Enrichment Activities for Dogs

Finding the right enrichment activities for our dogs can be quite a challenge, especially when we have different breeds and personalities living together. My roommates and I are all animal lovers, and we want to make sure our dog enjoys activities that respect everyone’s needs while still having fun. How do you decide on activities that keep all the dogs engaged and happy?

Some of us have tried puzzle toys and scent games, but I’ve noticed that not every dog reacts the same way to them. It often feels like we’re going through a trial-and-error process. I’d love to hear about what has worked for you! Do you have any favorite activities or toys that have really enriched your dog’s life? What tips do you have for introducing something new to keep things interesting?

I totally get the trial-and-error struggle! I’ve found that rotating toys helps keep things fresh. Also, some dogs go nuts for interactive games like hide-and-seek where we hide treats or their favorite toy. It’s fun to watch how each dog approaches it differently!

Have you tried rotating toys? Sometimes just switching things up every week keeps the excitement alive. Also, my dogs go nuts for tug-of-war; it’s a crowd-pleaser and burns off energy!
