Finding the perfect cage for a parrot in a lively family environment can be quite a challenge. With so many options available, it’s important to consider factors like size, safety, and ease of cleaning. Given our hectic schedules and kids running around, I want a cage that supports my parrot’s needs while fitting seamlessly into our daily life.

I’ve been exploring different materials and setups, but I’m not sure which features truly matter for keeping a parrot happy. Some people suggest that a wider cage is preferable to a taller one, but I also need to make sure it fits well in our living space. I’ve found that a cage with a removable bottom tray makes cleanup a lot easier when you’re busy. Also, make sure to check the bar spacing—too wide can be risky. Have you looked into any specific brands yet?

I get how tricky that can be! I had a similar issue and ended up going with a big, wide cage from A&E Cage. It gave my bird more space to move around, which is super important. Just make sure it has a removable bottom tray for easy cleaning—you’ll thank yourself later when the kids drop snacks everywhere!
