Finding the right toys for a household with both cats and dogs can be challenging. Pets have different play styles; for example, some dogs love to chew, while many cats enjoy chasing after things. This variety can make it tough to keep everyone entertained and avoid chaos during playtime.

I’ve had some luck with those wand toys that have feathers or ribbons; both my dog and cat love to chase them around together. Also, try getting a large ball that your dog can push around. It keeps my pets entertained for hours, and they don’t seem to mind sharing the space when they’re both having fun!

Have you tried those plush toys that have squeakers inside? My dog loves the sound, and my cat enjoys pouncing on it. It keeps them both engaged, but I do have to supervise to make sure they don’t try to steal each other’s toys! What interactive options have you found that they both actually play with?
