Could a calm environment improve pet behavior?

Since moving to a pet-friendly neighborhood in Austin, I’ve noticed a big change in my cat’s behavior. He seems so much more relaxed and playful now compared to when we lived in a busier area. I can’t help but wonder if the calmer atmosphere is helping him express himself better.

I’ve been looking into how a peaceful home can affect pets, and I’m interested to hear from others. Have you seen any changes in your pets’ behavior after moving to a quieter space? What tips do you have for creating a soothing environment for our furry friends?

Totally believe a chill environment can make a huge difference! I moved to a quieter area last year and my dog went from a nervous wreck to just lounging around all day. Keeping the space cozy, like adding soft beds and some quiet playtime, really helped too.

I totally get that! When we moved to a quieter place last year, my dog stopped barking at every little noise. For a soothing space, I started using soft music and natural lighting, and it really seems to help. What kind of changes have you noticed specifically with your cat?
