Living in a Chicago apartment with fellow pet enthusiasts leads to plenty of fun and sometimes chaotic moments. One of our favorite activities is crafting DIY toys for our cats. It’s incredibly rewarding to watch our furry friends enjoy a homemade feather wand or a yarn ball we created together. However, not every DIY adventure goes smoothly!
Just the other day, I attempted to make a cat tunnel from an old cardboard box. I thought I was being resourceful, but it turned out to be too small for my big kitty, who got stuck halfway through! Watching him squirm to get free was both funny and a bit concerning. Thankfully, he managed to escape unscathed but now seems to have some reservations about my crafting skills.
