Living in a cozy apartment in San Diego with my pets brings both joy and the challenge of keeping them entertained. I’ve discovered that enrichment activities are essential for their happiness and overall well-being. Simple ideas like interactive toys, puzzle feeders, and even DIY games can really help keep their minds active and fend off boredom. Plus, these activities are a wonderful way for us to bond!
One of my favorite things to do is create a mini obstacle course in my living room. I use cushions, chairs, and tunnels to encourage my pets to navigate through for treats. It’s amazing to see how quickly they learn and begin to look forward to the next challenge. I also enjoy hiding treats around the apartment for some scent work, which taps into their natural instincts and gives them a fun task to complete.
