Hello everyone! As an aquarium lover, I’m always looking for creative ways to keep my fish happy and engaged. I’d like to share a few DIY toys that have not only entertained my aquatic pets but have also added some fun to my home in Toronto.
One of my favorite projects is crafting floating toys from plastic bottles or even old kitchen sponges. These simple creations serve as both entertainment and a way for my fish to display their natural behaviors. I’ve seen them dart around and use these items as little hideouts, which brings me so much joy. Plus, it’s a fantastic way to recycle!
Another idea I enjoy is making homemade fish treats. I’ve had great success blending peas or spinach into a paste and freezing it into small cubes. This healthy snack keeps my fish active and satisfied. Have any of you tried your hand at making DIY fish toys or treats? What projects have you found to be the most enjoyable? Let’s share our ideas and inspire one another!
