Has anyone tried the new cat toys being sold in Austin?

I recently moved to a pet-friendly neighborhood, and it’s been a complete game changer for my cat! However, I’ve noticed that the selection of cat toys here is quite different from what I’m used to. I’ve seen some new interactive toys advertised that claim to keep cats entertained for hours, but I’m curious if they actually work as promised.

With so many options available, I’d love to hear about your experiences. Have any of you tried these new cat toys? Do they really engage your cats, or are they just a waste of money? I want to ensure I invest in something that will truly enhance playtime for my kitty.

I haven’t tried the latest toys, but I did get one of those laser pointers and my cat goes nuts for it! It’s pretty interactive and keeps her running around like crazy. Have you considered something simple like that, or are you leaning more towards the electronic toys?

I’ve tried a couple of those new interactive toys, and honestly, some are hit or miss. My cat loved the laser pointer one, but the treat dispenser didn’t get much attention. I usually look for stuff that makes noise or moves on its own; it seems to hold their interest better. Just gotta be careful not to overspend on the fancy stuff that they ignore!
