Managing multiple pets in one household can really be a juggling act, especially when it comes to keeping everyone entertained and happy. With my dogs, cats, and the occasional foster, I’m always on the lookout for new enrichment activities that suit different species and their unique needs. Recently, I’ve been trying to come up with ideas that provide both mental and physical stimulation, but I’m not quite sure where to begin or what works best in a mixed-pet environment.
I’ve experimented with a few things like puzzle feeders and interactive toys, which my dogs seem to enjoy. However, I’ve noticed my cats tend to lean towards more solitary activities. Plus, introducing new toys sometimes leads to competition among them. I’d love to hear how others manage this. What activities do you find effective for a variety of pets? How do you make sure each pet gets enough engagement without overwhelming the others?
