How to Choose the Best Toys for Different Pets?

Having multiple pets can be a lot of fun, but it can also be tricky when it comes to keeping them all entertained. I’m currently on the hunt for toys that work for both my dogs and cats. Since they all have different ways of playing, I want to ensure everyone gets to join in on the fun. Finding toys that are tough enough for my dogs while still being engaging for my cats has proven to be a challenge.

I’ve found that interactive toys tend to be a favorite among all my pets. But I’m curious about chew toys or puzzle feeders—do those work well for everyone? Safety is also a big concern for me; I definitely want to avoid any accidents. Are there specific brands or types of toys you recommend? What strategies do you use to keep playtime enjoyable and safe for a mixed group of pets?

I’d love to hear your thoughts and any suggestions you might have!

I’ve got dogs and cats too, and I’ve found that rubber toys usually hold up pretty well for both. Things like Kongs can keep dogs busy while the cats might enjoy chasing after them if you roll them around. For puzzle feeders, it’s hit or miss; my dogs figured them out way faster than the cats! Just make sure to supervise playtime, especially with anything that could break into small pieces.
