Top DIY Toys for Parrots This Year

Choosing the right toys for your parrot can be tricky with so many available options. Now that I have a spirited Amazon parrot as my latest foster, I’m keen on finding toys that promote foraging and mental engagement. While I’ve purchased a few toys from the store, I’ve noticed that my parrot enjoys the DIY toys I create much more.

I’ve been getting creative with different materials like natural wood, paper, and even items I find around the house. Some of my favorites include hanging toys made from untreated wood and shredded paper. I’m always interested in fresh ideas or inspiration, though! What materials or designs have worked well for you in keeping your parrots entertained? Any favorite projects or tips you’d like to share?
