I’ve found that using small pieces of untreated wood or even cardboard boxes can really get my reptiles moving and exploring. They seem to love hiding in them! Just make sure nothing has been treated with chemicals. How do you make sure your DIY toys are safe?

When it comes to choosing toys for reptiles, I notice that durability is key. My leopard gecko loves this wooden branch I made; he climbs all over it, and it hasn’t splintered yet. Plus, if you have kids, make sure everything’s non-toxic and can’t be swallowed.
