Keeping your goldfish in a well-maintained tank with good filtration really makes a difference. I’ve had a few that lived over 10 years! Also, feeding them a varied diet instead of just flakes can help with their health too. Don’t forget regular water changes!

I think the tank size really matters for goldfish. I had a couple in a small bowl before, and they didn’t last long at all, but when I moved them to a bigger tank, they thrived for years.
