Which DIY cat toys have your pets enjoyed the most?

Making my own cat toys has been quite the adventure lately! Since my cat, Leo, tends to lose interest in store-bought toys fairly quickly, I thought homemade options might keep him entertained longer. I started with simple creations like crumpled paper balls and a feather on a string, but I’m eager to hear what others have tried.

Have any of you experimented with DIY cat toys? What materials seem to work best for your furry friends? I’d love to hear about any surprising successes or even amusing failures you’ve had. Let’s swap ideas and maybe share a funny pet playtime story or two!

My cat goes crazy for those empty toilet paper rolls! Just cut some holes and toss a few treats inside. It keeps her busy for ages, and she loves trying to fish them out. Plus, it’s super easy to make!

My cat goes crazy for a cardboard box with some cutouts for him to peek through and pounce on! Super simple, but he loves crawling in and out. Another hit was a sock filled with catnip—he can’t resist it. Definitely worth a try!
