Why is my cat acting aggressively all of a sudden?

Noticed some unusual behavior from my cat recently—she’s been hissing and swatting at everyone in the house. This is so unlike her, as she’s usually a pretty calm cat. The aggression seems to have appeared overnight, and I can’t quite figure out what triggered it.

Could this change be due to something in her environment, adjustments in our household routine, or possibly a health issue? Our home can get pretty busy and noisy, but she used to manage just fine. Has anyone else dealt with sudden aggression in their cats? What did you do to help resolve it? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Sometimes sudden aggression can be linked to stress from changes in the environment, but I’d definitely keep an eye on her health, too. A vet check might be a good idea to rule out any pain or discomfort. Also, try to give her some quiet space away from the noise; it can really help calm them down.

It might be worth checking if there’s something stressing her out, like new pets, loud noises, or even a change in your routine. Sometimes even small things can set them off. If it continues, a vet visit could help rule out any health issues causing the behavior.
