Why is my rabbit jumping and running around so much?

Lately, I’ve noticed my rabbit jumping and running around a lot, and I’m not quite sure what to think. At first, I assumed it was just a burst of energy, but it’s becoming more frequent. Sometimes she seems to be having a great time, but other times I wonder if she’s feeling stressed or trying to tell me something.

I want to ensure she’s happy and healthy, so I’ve been keeping a closer eye on her behavior. Is this kind of activity normal for rabbits, or could something else be going on? Have any of you seen similar behavior with your bunnies? What have you found helps to calm them down or keep them entertained?

Rabbits can be pretty energetic, and sometimes their zoomies are just part of their playful nature. However, if it’s becoming excessive, it might be worth looking at her environment. Is she getting enough stimulation? Sometimes adding new toys or changing her play area can help keep her engaged and satisfied.

On the flip side, if she’s really running around like mad and acting skittish, it might be a sign of stress or boredom. Just keeping an eye on her body language can give you more clues. Have you tried spending some time playing with her or offering different types of enrichment?

I’ve seen my rabbit do the same thing, and it’s usually just her way of expressing excitement or playfulness. Sometimes they just have those crazy energy bursts, especially if they’re feeling good. But if the behavior is new and seems excessive, it might help to check if there’s anything stress-inducing in their environment or maybe even increase their playtime to tire them out.
